SPEK is a collaboration of a variety of quality-conscious experts and craftsmen – all united under the helm of one fearless leader, Michael Parkes. Together, we have built numerous houses in Austin with a special focus on Windsor Park in the "'23".

If you have ever spent any time in our 'hood you might be surprised to find how close the neighbors here can get. It is not unusual for people to keep an eye out for each other just as a matter of care and concern. People often give their neighbors a key, take care of each other's pets, sign for each others deliveries, and share in the personal growth of the people around them.

Over time the streets have improved and many new homeowners have moved in who give new life to the area. Neighbors appreciate it when you take the time to renew a property and introduce good design here. In general these people embrace change and diversity, which is in stark contrast to neighborhoods where everyone wants things to stay the same, and where they are more concerned with the "character of the neighborhood" than the quality of its evolution. SPEK's positive reception might not be possible just anywhere, and that's just one reason why Windsor Park is so special.
